Got a Tight Deadline? Here’s How to Get Laser Cutting Fast

Need parts in a hurry? Whether it’s a last-minute job or a deadline that’s moved up, we know how important fast turnaround can be.

At Flamin Fabrications, we’re set up to get your job moving quickly—especially if you follow these key steps. Here’s how to speed up your laser cutting order without compromising quality.

1. Upload a Ready-to-Cut DXF File

If you want the fastest quote and quickest path to production, upload a DXF file of your individual parts using our online quoting tool.

This lets us:

  • Quote instantly

  • Review the file quickly

  • Get it into production with minimal delay

If you don’t have a DXF, we can create one for you—but it will take longer depending on the complexity of your sketch or drawings.

2. Stick to Our Standard Materials

We keep a full range of standard materials in stock, including:

  • P&O steel

  • Mild steel (various thicknesses)

  • Aluminium

  • Stainless steel (some stock on hand)

Special orders are possible—but they cost more and extend lead time. If you're on the clock, choose from our stocked options.

3. Avoid These Common Time Wasters

Want to prevent hold-ups? Here’s what can slow your job down:

  • Uploading multiple parts as one file (our system underquotes it)

  • Incomplete sketches or missing measurements

  • Asking for non-metal cutting (we cut metal only)

  • Needing extra design help (we can help—but it adds to turnaround)

4. We’ll Review & Confirm Before Cutting

Once you submit your order:

  1. We review your files

  2. If everything checks out, we email you a pro forma invoice

  3. After payment, your job goes into production

Turnaround is typically 5 business days from payment.

Need CNC Folding?

We can also fold your parts on request—but folding is not built into the online quote yet. Just add a note during checkout and we’ll quote it manually.

Pro Tip: Call Ahead

Have a really tight job? Call us before placing your order. We’ll let you know if we can shuffle things around or prioritise your job based on workload.

Got a file ready? Upload it now or reach out to info@flaminfabrications.com.au to check lead time on your material.
